Savola 2020 Concert Entitled 40 Years of Confidence

The Savola Company (Food) held a special concert entitled (40 years of confidence). And in the presence of several officials, senior customers and wholesalers from various regions of the Kingdom.

The Concert witnessed many different topics and events, as follows:

Achievements 2019 :

Savola Company (Foodstuff) participated in its most prominent achievements for 2019 and indicated its market share in each of the following segments:

Challenges:

The company talked about the most important challenges facing the company and the end consumer. Where she indicated that there are several factors that influence the decision of the end-user’s purchase, as follows:

  • Changing the buying behavior of the consumer

  • The few differences between competitors

The concert included many activities of the Saudi folklore among several parts of the ceremony.

 

Strategy 2020:

The first form of a Afia corn oil product was launched in 1981, then the company changed the shape of the packaging to a transparent form in 1990. Where it lasted 19 years in the same form until 2009, in which the company changed the shape of the containers in the manner known to this day until the beginning of 2020.

Development of packages

Over the years, Afia has continued to develop its products because it is a vital reward in the company's policy to maintain its leadership in the market by offering competitive prices and distinguishing it between competitors.

Launching new Afia products:

The company launched a range of new products for the Afia brand to keep pace with the health requirements of the consumer.

Advertising campaigns in different media

The company has shown new advertising campaigns for Afia oil and Al-Arabi oil products that will be shown on TV channels and social media.

Announcing 2019 results:

Savola Company (Foodstuff) announced its results for the year 2019 AD, as the share of Savola products reached 65%. Afia oil distribution reached 90%. The distribution of Savola products reached 99%. The company's sales exceeded 2 billion Saudi riyals.

Sales and Distribution Strategy:

The company also talked about its selling and distribution strategy with all customers and at the level of all sales channels (the supermarket channel and the wholesale channel and the direct distribution channel) as shown in the picture below.

Afia Distribution Company Coverage:

The coverage of Afia Distribution Company reached more than 20,000 outlets covered by 17 branches of the company to serve its customers located in various regions of the Kingdom.

Honoring the Top 10 Clients of 2019:

The company honored the 10 best clients for them in the Oil sector in order to consolidate the relationship with customers as it called their relationship "a partnership that weighs gold". As the top 10 customers are as follows:
